This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the status of IT in developing entrepreneurial opportunities in sport. The method of conducting this research was survey. The statistical population of this research includes managers of sporting goods companies in Iran (N=460), among them, randomly and according to Morgan table, 169 companies were selected as the statistical sample. To collect data, Heirsch and Peter questionnaire (2002) was used, which it’s validity and reliability were evaluated and confirmed by Khosravani Fard (2012). The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire in the present study was calculated using Cronbach's alpha (α = 0.89) and its validity (face and content) was calculated based on the views of experienced faculty members and physical education specialists and using the sigma numbering index of 0.85. An analytic or critical review of a book or article is not primarily a summary; rather, it comments on and evaluates the work in the light of specific issues and theoretical concerns in a course. The present study is a critical analysis of the content, which, relating to implementation, is practical. For this purpose, Ghasemi Hamid, Keshkar Sara et al Management information systems in Sport. Tehran: Hatmi publication. 1393. 308 pages. ISBN 3-99-6904-600- 978 was selected and reviewed. The results in relation to authors, main focus of the book, analysis of similar works, and analysis of the structure as well as the content of the book, has been presented in some sections. On the whole, if useful, next editions of this book can be expected. It is hoped that the present reviewing will become successful at fixing shortcomings, leading to promotion of the book in later editions.
